Why am I unable to upload my ID?
Why isn’t my document being accepted?
Our verification provider may be unable to process your request for a few reasons. Here are a few tips to help complete this step.
- Ensure that your document is valid. We are unable to accept an upload of an expired ID or an ID that is expiring in 1 month.
- Ensure your identification document is in a well-lit area without much glare.
- Photograph the entire document, and avoid cutting off any corners or sides.
- A high degree of wear and tear on an ID can also get the ID to be rejected.
- Please avoid uploading edited photos of your ID, including scan copies, screenshot copies, cut copies. etc
- If you are having trouble with the camera on a desktop or laptop computer, try installing our iOS or Android app on your cell phone. Using your phone’s camera, you can use the mobile app to complete the ID verification step. Open the ‘Identity Verification’ section by going to Account –> Setting –> Security –> Identity Verification.
