What is 3D Secure (3DS) & FAQ
What is 3D Secure (3DS) ?
3DS is a formal security verification that authorizes online payments by entering a password or a one-time PIN.
How to complete 3DS verification?
When the system asks for 3DS authentication, it will take you to a new web page where you will see one of two flows: a challenge flow where you will enter a PIN or one-time passcode, or a frictionless flow(Blank screen) where no explicit action is required (about 2-3 seconds), and the page will automatically jump back to Pionex.US when the authentication is complete.
What are the reasons for expired or failed 3DS verification?
- Your card issuer does not support 3DS.
- Your card issuer does not allow payments to crypto exchanges.
- You have not entered the 3DS verification code within 15 minutes or have entered an incorrect code.
How can I solve the problem so that I can make a deposit?
- Please check if you have entered the correct 3DS verification code within 15 minutes.
- Try to log in to the Pionex.US website operation for depositing.
- Contact the bank card issuer and ask them to lift the deposit restriction.
- Try using Pionex.US’s other deposit methods (e.g., Wire, ACH).
