FAQ
Q: Why is it required to use USDT for a trading bot?
A: The concept of a trading bot is using quote currency to buy the base currency.
And most of the trading pair in Pionex.US is XXX/USDT pair.
For example, you have to buy BTC with USDT in BTC/USDT market.
Q: What’s the difference between Market and Limit order?
A: Both limit and market order will charge a 0.1% transaction fee.
Limit (Maker): Buy or sell at a specified price.
If you set a limit buy order at 35,000.
A limit buy order will only be completed if the price is at or below the limit set in the order.
If the market price remains above 35,000, the order will not be filled. And the USDT used for the pending order will also be frozen until the user manually cancels the limit buy order.
Market (Taker):
When you press “Buy” or “Sell”, a market order will be executed immediately. And usually executes at most recent price.
However, if the trading depth of the currency is insufficient, it may cause slippage.
It is recommended to check the current number of pending orders from the buy and sell orders on the left side of the interface (Orderbook) before trading a currency with a smaller market value.
